How to Add a Video to Google My Business

Step 1: Log into your Google My Business account and click on the “Photos” on the left vertical menu. 

Step 2: On the next page click on “Add videos”

Step 3: Now drag and drop your video or upload one from your computer by clicking on “Select videos from your computer”

And now you are done.

Before you start uploading videos to your profile on GMB, take a few moments to read about Google’s guidelines on the videos and images you can upload to your profile:

“Videos must be taken by users at the location in question. If the primary subject of the content is irrelevant to the location, it may be removed.”

“For videos, only upload content that is stable and has good visual quality. Content that is out of focus, shaky, or has bad exposure should not be uploaded. Distorted or corrupted videos are not allowed.”

Your video also needs to follow specifications set by Google. Make sure your videos meet the following requirements:

• Duration: Up to 30 seconds long
• File size: Up to 75 MB
• Resolution: 720p or higher.

It may take up to 24 hours for your video to be verified. So make sure your videos meet all the guidelines mentioned above.
