Being a realtor is not just about helping clients buy or sell their property. Clients may need your help with problems throughout the process. She goes out of her way to exceed their expectations.

Sheila’s Testimonials

“I recently had the pleasure of working with my realtor Sheila Sontz when buying and selling a property. Her patience, understanding and attention to detail on my buy and sale were greatly appreciated

The Story of Sheila Sontz

This client was a nervous wreck about selling a condo and buying a much bigger new construction townhome, and I think she just appreciated that I didn’t get phased by her many cases of frazzled nerves, and that every bit of my guidance turned out to be correct as well.  I helped her to understand her financing position when the bank couldn’t explain it in a way she could understand well.  Also, she was present for a couple of the showings and came to appreciate my ability to establish a rapport with potential buyers and their agents.  I think that would be about it other than the usual things I do to exceed clients’ expectations like staging her closets and removing junk that needed to be disposed of in various ways.

Takeaway

Taking care of the basic set of responsibilities of a realtor does not make them stand out. As a result of Sheila’s care and concern, her client was able to manage her stress and worry. Consequently, the client could understand and participate in the process more fully. There are many things clients need help with. There is much to learn. Therefore, exercise patience and compassion. These traits are as essential as knowledge. How you handle a client’s needs and concerns determines your true value as a realtor.
