LA City Council Approves DTLA, Hollywood Zoning Updates

The LA City Council has approved two comprehensive zoning plans that together add 135,000 new housing units over the next 20 years. The plans focus on increased density in two of the city’s largest and most populous regions and include requirements for affordable units. The Hollywood plan rezones more than 300 acres in the Hollywood Hills and provides size incentives for multifamily projects with affordable units.
