About Karen Cortez

Karen Cortez is the mother of two active boys and a proud Army spouse who is passionate about helping people live their best life by finding the right home! A native of Pittsburgh PA, Karen´s Army travels have taken her from the Midwest to the West coast, through a tour in Germany, back to the East Coast, and then to Augusta, Georgia where she is very excited to finally settle down. In her free time, she enjoys running, Pilates, and spending time with family. Prior to joining Blanchard and Calhoun, Karen previously spent 9 years in Atlanta working for Invesco Institutional Inc. as a Director of Marketing in Consultant Relations. She received her MBA from Bellarmine University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from The College of Wooster. She has held the National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD) Series 3, 7, and 63 licenses and now is a member of the Greater Augusta Association of Realtors (GAAR).
