Our journey towards homeownership was not an easy one. We were referred to our first agent by my parents he used outdated systems and did not listen to our needs much less our wants simply telling us what we wanted was out of range and showing us only the properties we could find ourselves on zillow. Dana did a great job representing us as a buyer’s agent, getting to know us and listening to our wants in an ideal home, both in function and location. This was our 2nd time in the DC area so we knew what areas we wanted to consider. She found a recently built FSBO home that wasn’t listed in most sites and helped negotiate a great price and managed the closure activities so that we didn’t need to worry about a 30 day escrow. Even a last minute snag with the lender was quickly resolved.

Dana helped us buy our first house and then years later sell that house and buy another. She is incredibly knowledgeable about all kinds of process issues, from legal aspects to financing options to issues with inspections. She also has neighborhood-specific knowledge in Maryland, DC, and Virginia. She is always available and is calming presence when the process is stressful! We aren't in the market right now, but Dana still sends us helpful information on what's happening in the market in our neighborhood. I cannot recommend her more highly!!
