The new home sales pace quickened with 50.87 avg DOM Aug, ↓ from 51.19 days in July. The avg new home prices ↑ in TX, posting ↑ avg prices in Austin and Houston. Still, prices were ↓ in Dallas-Ft. Worth and San Antonio. The 3-mo moving avg statewide of new home sale prices in Aug was a record $472,129.
