1. Checking for mold and mildew, vacuuming, dusting and using a dehumidifier especially in the basements 2. Cleaning out the garage, to avoid potential fire hazards and have extra storage for additional supplies 3. Maintaining good air quality, by replacing both air filters and furnace filters, and also utilizing ceiling fans when possible 4. Preparing for emergencies by building a home emergency kit in case of losing power, water or suffer any other temporary changes to the home
