According to the NAHREP, the number of Latino homeowners in the U.S. is at its highest level since 2000. With the historically low-interest rates, and consumer demand, the Real Estate market had a surprisingly strong year. Youth Latinos’ household growth and homeownership rate for the sixth consecutive year helped to overcome the pandemic. Latinos will be the new homeowner majority for at least the next 20-yr, and in the 10-yr preceding the pandemic accounted for > 50% of homeownership growth. Latinos are no longer a part of the minority, but are part of the community, represented, and proud to impact the economy through homeownership.
