DeKalb County’s homeowners can take advantage of homestead exemptions to reduce their annual property taxes. Eligible individuals may also apply for special exemptions. Special exemptions are available for: - Seniors aged >62 - Disabled residents - Disabled veterans Applications can be submitted online, by mail, drop box, or in person before the April 1 deadline.
