Canada’s avg rents climbed in August
The national avg rent for all property types ↑ 11.1% yearly to $1,95K in Aug. The Aug avg also ↑ 16.8% since a low point in Apr 2021. Prospective tenants are looking at properties >$200 expensive on avg yearly. Demand for rentals is ↑ ~ 40% yearly, and ↑ 70% from Aug 2020 marketplace.
