Most Americans think now is the time to buy homes

In a recent poll, 56% of Americans said “right now” is a great time to buy a home. Within that, 47% say they plan to buy a home in 2023, with 74% saying it would be their first time buying a house. Furthermore, 51% see homeownership as an investment opportunity, and 50% want to act before rates rise even further.
