About

I Don't Just List Homes — I Help People Move Forward

I don't believe in simply listing homes—I believe in helping people move forward. My approach is hands-on because every home and every client deserves more than a sign in the yard. I help sellers prepare their homes to make the best first impression, guide buyers through every step of the process, and work with investors to identify opportunities that make sense. If something needs attention before a home hits the market, we'll find a solution together. My background in compliance taught me to pay attention to details, communicate clearly, and protect the people I serve. Today, I bring those same values into every real estate transaction. If it needs to be done...I'll do it. Driven by Integrity. Committed to Service. — Lucy Alvarez | Jake Anthony Realty, San Antonio, TX

Buying a home is one of the biggest decisions you'll ever make. Here's how I make sure you're never navigating it alone.

1. Define Your Goals

We start with a conversation — your timeline, budget, must-haves, and what home ownership means for your life right now.

Before we tour a single home, I'll connect you with trusted lenders so you know exactly what you can confidently offer.

3. Search With Purpose

No wasted trips. I curate options that truly match your criteria across San Antonio's diverse neighborhoods and price points.

4. Make a Strong Offer

When you find the right home, I craft a competitive, well-structured offer — protecting your interests at every clause.

5. Navigate Inspections & Negotiations

My compliance background means I read every detail. I'll flag what matters and negotiate repairs or credits on your behalf.

6. Close With Confidence

I walk you through the final steps so closing day is exciting — not stressful. Then we hand you the keys.

Area guide

San Antonio Neighborhoods Worth Knowing

San Antonio is more than a city — it's a collection of distinct communities. Here's a look at some of the areas I know best.

Alamo Heights

A prestigious inner-loop community known for top-rated schools, charming mid-century homes, and walkable local dining.

Stone Oak

One of the North Side's most sought-after suburbs — master-planned, family-friendly, and close to major employers.

Southtown

San Antonio's arts and culture hub. A magnet for buyers who want walkability, character, and proximity to downtown.

Converse & Universal City

Affordable, growing communities east of the city with strong rental demand — a smart target for investors and first-time buyers alike.

Helotes

A tight-knit Hill Country community with larger lots, scenic surroundings, and a small-town feel just minutes from the city.

FAQ

Common Questions About Working With Lucy

Do you work with first-time home buyers?

Absolutely. I love working with first-time buyers. I walk you through every step of the process — from getting pre-approved to understanding what you're signing at the closing table.

How do you help sellers get their home ready for market?

I take a hands-on approach. We'll walk through your home together, identify what needs attention, and put a plan in place — whether that's staging, minor repairs, or strategic pricing — so your home makes the best first impression.

Can you help me evaluate an investment property?

Yes. I work with investors to identify opportunities that make financial sense in the San Antonio market, including multifamily, presale, and rental income properties.

What if I'm downsizing?

Downsizing is a specialty of mine. I understand the emotional and logistical complexity of leaving a long-time home, and I'm here to make the transition feel manageable and empowering.

What areas of San Antonio do you serve?

I work across the greater San Antonio area, including the North Side, Southtown, Alamo Heights, Stone Oak, Helotes, Converse, Universal City, and surrounding communities.

What makes you different from other agents?

My background in compliance means I'm wired to protect you — catching details others miss, communicating clearly, and holding every party in a transaction accountable. I don't cut corners, and I don't disappear after the paperwork is signed.
