About

A Nurse, a Daughter, and Now Your Financial Advocate

I'm Beverly Rudder, a Licensed Agent with WFG based in College Park, Maryland — and a Registered Nurse with over 30 years of experience dedicated to caring for others. Becoming a licensed agent wasn't just a career move; it was personal. My father has suffered multiple strokes over the years and now requires around-the-clock care. Watching my family navigate that reality firsthand showed me how devastating it can be to discover important financial concepts too late. No one should have to learn about life insurance, income protection, or financial preparedness by accident. That experience set me in motion — to find solutions and share them. Today, I'm especially passionate about connecting with hardworking individuals who want more choices for themselves and their families, and with fellow healthcare professionals who spend their lives protecting others but may not yet have a plan protecting them. Whether you're looking for financial education, exploring a flexible opportunity to build alongside your current career, or simply want an honest conversation about your family's future, I'd love to connect. Sometimes one conversation can change the direction of your future — it certainly changed mine.

FAQ

Common Questions About Life Insurance

Do I really need life insurance if I'm young and healthy?

Absolutely — and being young and healthy is actually the best time to get it. Premiums are lowest when you're younger, and life insurance can lock in affordable rates before health changes occur. It's not about expecting the worst; it's about being prepared.

What's the difference between term and whole life insurance?

Term life insurance covers you for a set period (e.g., 20 years) and is typically more affordable. Whole life insurance provides lifelong coverage and builds cash value over time. The right choice depends on your goals — and I'll help you figure that out together.

How much life insurance coverage do I actually need?

A common starting point is 10–12 times your annual income, but your real number depends on your debts, dependents, income replacement needs, and long-term goals. We'll work through this together in a personalized conversation.

Is life insurance only for people with children?

Not at all. Life insurance can protect a spouse, cover final expenses, pay off debts, or leave a legacy — even without children in the picture. Many single individuals and couples benefit greatly from having coverage in place.

As a healthcare professional, do I have special considerations?

Healthcare workers often have demanding schedules, student loan debt, and unique income structures. I understand this world deeply as a fellow RN, and I'm passionate about helping healthcare professionals build a financial foundation that matches the dedication they bring to their work.

One Conversation Could Change Your Family's Future
