Mississauga to consider fourplexes throughout city as pressure to increase housing supply mounts
Mississauga Councillor Alvin Tedjo has proposed a motion that would allow fourplexes throughout the city in order to address the housing crisis and population decline. The motion has been seconded by Ward 5 Coun. Carolyn Parrish and has been supported by Mayor Bonnie Crombie. The motion is in response to federal pressure to densify the city and comes in the wake of the More Homes Built Faster Act passed at Queen's Park last fall.
