According to data from the Fresno Housing Authority, the success rate of voucher holders has dropped to 34% — meaning that only a third of voucher holders who are seeking housing find it before they must relinquish their voucher to the next person in line. The resolution being considered by the city council would provide funds directly to the Central California Community Land Trust.
