Transportation

Aquabus: Convenient to travel further inlet towards Science World or across the inlet towards Vancouver’s West-End and Yaletown. Price is approximately $3.75+ depending on the number of stops and the length of the trips. Walk: Since Granville Island can get quite busy due to the amount of tourists that stop in and out, it is more convenient to walk the area. However, since Granville Island is further away from Downtown Vancouver and not conveniently close to any skytrain stations, other modes of transportation is recommended as well. Bike: Biking is quite popular for the area as there is limited/paid for parking. Transit: There are plenty of transit stops located just off of Granville Island. Car: Convenient for travelling outside of the Granville district, however, traffic can cause congestion and parking can be pricey and hard to find. Carshare: Not available Bus: There are no stops inside granville island, only outside off the Highway 99 bridge. Skytrain: Not available, the closest station is Yaletown Roundhouse (3.2Km)
