One online lender requires borrowers to draw their full approved HELOC amount upfront, with interest charged on that initial balance and an origination fee.
Its origination fee can reach ~5% of the initial draw, capped at $12K; most borrowers won't need an appraisal fee because property valuations are automated.
The lender generally requires a credit score of 600, or 680 for an investment property or second home; some property types are ineligible.
In most US locations, loans start at $15K, and borrowers can prequalify without affecting their credit score before reviewing a personalized rate quote.
Applications are online only, with prequalification available in five minutes; borrowers in counties allowing electronic signatures may receive funding in five business days.

HELOCs let homeowners draw funds as needed and pay interest only on the amount used, including for home improvements, debt consolidation or other major expenses.
