Haywood Homeownership Assistance Program

The N.C. Office of Recovery and Resiliency is supporting Haywood County in launching its Homeownership Assistance Program to help homebuyers affected by Tropical Storm Fred or first-time homebuyers. The program offers financial assistance for down payments and closing costs, as well as homebuyer education. It is part of efforts to replace housing lost due to the storm, with funding from HUD's Community Development Block Grant.
