Average monthly premiums for Medicare Part D and Medicare Advantage plans will decrease in 2026. Medicare Advantage enrollment is expected to slightly decline but remain stable. Nearly all beneficiaries will have access to multiple Medicare Advantage plans. The average Part D premium will drop to $34.50, and Medicare Advantage premiums will also fall. New Medicare Plan Finder features will help compare plans. Open enrollment runs Oct. 15 to Dec. 7.
