Home sales in Halton Region fell 10.8% with active listings down 16.9% year-over-year. The average home price was $1.11 million, down 3.6% from July and 4.3% from last August. Detached houses averaged $1.46 million, down 2% monthly; semi-detached and attached houses saw slight monthly price increases but year-over-year declines. Townhouse and apartment-style condos dropped significantly in price. Prices have risen about 37% since 2016.
