Blacksmith Workshop: Forged Bottle Opener

Looking for a memorable way to spend time in Pickering? The Blacksmith Workshop: Forged Bottle Opener offers a hands-on heritage experience at Pickering Museum Village on October 10–11, 2026. Participants will learn essential blacksmithing techniques while creating a practical, one-of-a-kind bottle opener. This workshop is a great opportunity to step away from the ordinary and experience local history in an engaging, creative way. Whether you attend with friends, family, or neighbours, working with traditional tools and techniques can make for a rewarding day out and a story worth sharing. As a local real estate professional, I love highlighting events that showcase what makes Pickering feel like home. Community experiences, heritage spaces, and opportunities to meet fellow residents all add to the character and lifestyle of our neighbourhoods.
