Banned Books Readout with Pizza

Mark Your Calendar — Join the 14th annual Banned Books Readout on October 14, 2026, at CSUN’s Oviatt Library for an inspiring celebration of the freedom to read. Hear Local Voices — Enjoy student readings from banned books plus a featured appearance by author Francesca Lia Block, connecting neighbors through powerful stories. Come Hungry — Pizza is served before the program, making this free community event an easy midweek outing for Northridge readers, families, students, and neighbors. Save the date and invite a neighbor! Learn more about the free event at sfvlocal.com/events/e/14th-annual-banned-books-readout-with-pizza-0ff949.
