Grand African Run 2026

Alexandria neighbors, mark your calendars for the Grand African Run 2026 on October 10 at 1100 Main Line Boulevard. This welcoming local event brings families and friends together for a 5K and 1K fun run/walk celebrating movement, culture, community, and charitable causes. Whether you are an experienced runner, a casual walker, or bringing children along for their first event, there is a way to participate. The family-friendly format makes it easy to choose the distance that fits your pace while enjoying an uplifting day with fellow community members. Registration costs $45–$55, and participation supports an event focused on connection and charitable impact. As a local real estate agent, I love highlighting opportunities that help Alexandria residents get active, meet neighbors, and experience the vibrant community we call home. Ready to join the celebration? Visit https://www.africanrun.com/ for registration details and event updates, then invite your family and friends to run, walk, and celebrate together.
