Rents still dropping nationally, but not in some Ontario and GTA markets

Rents in Canada continue to decline overall, with a 3.2% year-over-year drop to an average of $2,123, marking the twelfth consecutive month of decreases. However, some GTA areas like Vaughan, North York, Oshawa, and Oakville show slight rent increases. Kingston saw the largest rise, with two-bedroom rents up 17.8%. Vancouver and Toronto lead in high rents but have seen significant declines over three years.
