A proposal to replace a plaza at 1225 Dundas St. E. in Mississauga now includes two 16-storey apartment buildings connected by a six-storey podium, down from 18 storeys. The plan features 612 apartment units, 30 townhouses, and ground-floor commercial space. Changes address urban design, wind, sun/shadow impacts, and land use compatibility. The proposal will be discussed by the city's Planning and Development Committee on Sept. 8.
