Vancouver home sales down 2.5% in April but detached market trending upward: board
Vancouver-area home sales fell 2.5% in April from last year, with 2,110 residential sales, 22.9% below the 10-year average. Detached home sales rose 14%, while condo and attached home sales declined. Inventory remains high, with 6,684 new listings and total inventory 37.9% above the long-term average. The composite benchmark price dropped 6.9% year-over-year to $1,098,000.
