Philadelphia is advancing its $2 billion housing plan to build or restore 30,000 units, currently over halfway to the goal. Programs include home repair, first-time homebuyer aid, and the upcoming One Philly Mortgage offering city-backed loans for low- to moderate-income buyers. About $83.1 million of $277 million approved this year has been spent on repairs and neighborhood upkeep. A housing fair and webinars will provide more information.
