New listings in Houston fell 1% year over year, with 3,344 added compared to 3,378 the previous year. Pending home sales dropped 8.6%, and closed sales decreased 0.5%. Despite this, consumer interest grew, with property showings up 6.4% and open houses increasing 8%, totaling over 41,000 showings and nearly 9,000 events.
