Looking for a fresh way to experience Los Angeles? Beginning May 9, 2026, “Play” transforms the Metro Art Passageway at Los Angeles Union Station into an immersive celebration of movement, light, and everyday moments. Created by artist Pelle Cass, the exhibition features 36 illuminated lightboxes that bring dynamic scenes to life. As travelers move through the station, the artwork offers a playful perspective on motion and encourages visitors to pause, look closer, and see a familiar civic space in a new way. The exhibition is free and runs through November 20, making it an easy addition to a weekend itinerary, downtown outing, or transit-friendly day in the city. Consider pairing your visit with a nearby coffee, meal, or walk through the surrounding neighborhoods. Save the dates and invite friends or family to experience “Play” together at Union Station.
