San Francisco Home Prices Up in October

In October, San Francisco's median home price rose to $1,195,000, despite an 8.2% drop in listings, which is larger than usual for this season. The price per square foot fell by 0.5%, less than the national decrease of 0.8%. Inventory dropped 30% year-over-year, with 886 homes for sale. Homes took 61 days to sell, slightly longer than last month and nationally.
