County of Santa Barbara awarded $1.25 million for housing

Santa Barbara County received California’s Prohousing Designation and $1.25 million from the Prohousing Incentive Program for expanding housing options, streamlining multifamily project approvals, and supporting affordable and special-needs housing. The funding will aid affordable housing production, preservation, and implementation of the County’s Housing Element, enhancing access to state housing and infrastructure funds.
