York Region home prices jump 2.9 per cent to $1.18 million in August 2026

The average home price in York Region was $1.18 million in August 2026, up 2.9% from July but down 0.4% year-over-year. There were 971 sales with 4,919 active listings. Detached houses averaged $1.48 million, rising 3.9% monthly and 0.5% yearly. Semi-detached, attached houses, and apartment-style condos saw price declines, while townhouse-style condos increased slightly month-over-month but dropped yearly.
