Cash buyers in the U.S. housing market decreased by 11.2% in the first four months of the year, outpacing the overall home sales decline of 8.5%. The share of all-cash buyers remained stable at 31.4%, down slightly from 32.3% the previous year. Increased inventory and moderating prices are enabling more financed buyers to compete, reducing cash buyers' dominance.
