Ontario issued four Minister’s Zoning Orders to advance a transit-oriented development near Oakville GO Station, planning over 6,800 homes, public spaces, and amenities. The project aims to create nearly 4,000 construction jobs and 400 long-term jobs, aligning with local housing targets. Building heights were reduced to 38 storeys after community feedback. The development is part of a broader strategy to increase density near transit hubs and support up to 292,000 homes regionally.
